Arlington County launched Arlington's Transportation Future, an initiative to create a refreshed Transportation Plan that will better address the community's needs; help create a safe, equitable, accessible, easy-to-use, and sustainable network; and guide community investments.

What Makes Voting in Arlington Unique?
Did you know Arlington owns and programs all of our voting equipment? Learn how the County is ensuring elections are safe and secure in this quick video.
Have you made a plan to vote? Note these important dates for the 2024 Election:
- Oct. 15 – Last day to register to vote (after then, you may register in person at any early voting location and vote a provisional ballot).
- Oct. 16 – Early Voting hours expand and two additional locations open: Madison and Walter Reed Community Centers. Note, hours vary by location.
- Oct. 25 at 5 p.m. – Deadline to request a mail ballot.
Name That Plow!
The Department of Environmental Services (DES) is asking for your clever and pun-filled (and appropriate!) names for the snowplows displayed on the Snow and Ice Map. Check out some icy inspiration and then submit your suggestions (please keep it fun and respectful!).
