Celebrating Our First Year!
We are celebrating our one-year anniversary!
The RAFT Dementia Support Program launched in January 2023 and serves older adults with dementia and their caregivers living in Northern Virginia. RAFT is grateful for the opportunity to support those living with dementia and their caregivers. We thank participants for the time, thought, and care they have put into the program.
As we look back on the year we’ve had, we are also excited for the year ahead of us!
Over the course of our first year, the RAFT Dementia Support Team…
- Provided education, training, and resource coordination to 75 clients with a wide array of unique support needs in all five counties of Northern Virginia – Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William.
- Provided over 180 hours of consultation to professionals and community members.
- Facilitated 35 trainings for 989 community members and professionals.
As we herald in another year of the program, please join us for a virtual interactive event to celebrate our anniversary on Tuesday, February 13th at 12pm. We will discuss program services, highlights from the past year, answer questions, and discuss future collaborations!
