July 4th in Arlington County
The Fourth of July is a day of commemoration and celebration in the United States, and it's especially true in Arlington County, where the Independence Day festivities are some of the country’s best. Get info on how to make the most of your holiday, while keeping it fun and safe.
Keep in mind, there will be multiple roadways closed on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, to help facilitate the safe passage of large crowds for Independence Day events and fireworks.
Arlington County Government offices and services will be operating on modified schedules on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 — visit the Holiday Schedule page for more details.
Do You Ride the ART Bus?
Would you ride the ART Bus if the service were different? Do you ever wish your ART bus went somewhere it doesn't, or ran longer hours, started earlier, or had buses more frequently?
If you answered yes, no, or maybe to any of these questions, we want to hear from you to inform the Arlington Transit Strategic Plan for the next 10 years.
