Arlington's Potomac Waterfront by Anne Rowland

In the spring of 2017, Anne Rowland documented Arlington’s waterfront beginning with the County line at Chain Bridge all the way to Four Mile Run. Rowland’s photographs capture the diversity of Arlington’s Potomac River waterfront from bucolic forests to urban parks. These photographs will be exhibited on a large outdoor screen in a breezeway at Mason Exhibitions Arlington and is available to view 24 hours a day. More

Arlington Artists Alliance: Winter Artful Weekend

The 20th annual "Winter Artful Weekend" Art Show is returning to the lovely historic Hendry House at Fort C.F. Smith Park in Arlington. The Winter Artful Weekend showcases artwork by 40 artists from the Arlington Artists Alliance. Arlington Chorale: Christmas Joy!

John Rutter’s joyful Magnificat will put you in a festive mood for the holiday season! Meant to evoke a Mediterranean celebration, this work has elements of tango, musical theatre, and jazz while celebrating the Latin Magnificat text, the canticle of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Luke I: 46-55). The Chorale will also present Kirke Mechem’s Seven Joys of Christmas, an arrangement of several lesser-known carols from different countries that showcase the many sides of Christmas joy. More

Gingerbread House Decorating with MOCAA

As part of its MoCA on the Move Programming, the Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington is delighted to host people in the fun -- and tasty -- craft of making gingerbread houses. Community-Based Artist, Sarah Loden, will lead the workshop. The usual trimmings of icing, gumdrops, and sprinkles will be there, along with other creative elements for you to build a house that is uniquely yours to take home and enjoy. Afterwards, check out the nearby courtyard light installation from Belgian artists Tom & Lien Dekyvere. More
