The Renaming of Langston Boulevard

Celebrating the Renaming of Arlington's Langston Boulevard

Join for FREE events to celebrate the renaming of Langston Boulevard and learn about the corridor's significant and prevalent history. More

  • Sat, Oct 2, 10-11:30am: Walking Tour with the President of the John M. Langston Civic Association
  • Sat, Oct 2, 11am-3pm: Fall Festival featuring live music, food trucks, the R.E.A.D. book bus, children's performance by Synetic Theater, plein air art by the Arlington Artists Alliance and a multitude of other fun and free activities.
  • Oct 2-31: Art Gallery of Local Black Artists. Lynn Coates, Barry Keith, Justyne Fischer, and Reshea Deloatch will show their pieces honoring local heroes and impactful businesses and buildings.
