The Arlington Players presents "The War of the Worlds"

Keep Calm! The Martians are NOT coming... or are they?!

Perhaps the best known radio play of all time, "The War of the Worlds," a 1938 radio drama written by Howard Koch, chronicles the invasion of aliens from Mars. The broadcast will air on the 82nd anniversary of the original, Halloween, panic-inducing broadcast. Moving Words Adult Poetry Competition

Moving Words makes poetry a part of daily life for commuters riding Arlington Transit (ART) by replacing advertising placards inside public buses with poems by local poets. Juried by Arlington County Poet Laureate Holly Karapetkova, the competition is open to poets in the DC Metro area who are ages 18 or older. The six winning poets will have their poems displayed inside Arlington ART Buses for three months between January and June 2021 and will receive a $250 honorarium. More
