The private redevelopment of the “Crystal Houses” block allows for new publicly-accessible but privately-owned space for the community to enjoy. As part of the site plan process and informed by community input, the developer, Roseland Residential Trust, will design and build two public spaces as part of its new development which is envisioned in the Crystal City Sector Plan.

As part of the Site Plan Review, Parks and Recreation is coordinating community engagement for the developer for the second public space, the corner park, to transform the corner of 22nd Street/Fern Park (approximately .5 acres) into a new public space.

You are invited to share your thoughts on four design concepts for the corner park and tell us what amenities you would prefer. Your input will help inform Roseland’s design.  Please submit  your input by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, September 6.

Based on your input, Roseland will share their first draft designs at a public meeting on September 16 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the lobby at the Bozeman Government Center, 2100 Clarendon Blvd. Feedback will also be shared at the Site Planning Review Committee meeting  from 7-9 p.m. in the Cherry/Dogwood conference room.  An updated draft concept will be available on September 23. The final design will be presented to the County Board in October.
