What do You Value?

The Library has limited resources. In the upcoming budget year, Arlington Public Library is facing a 17 percent decrease in the collections budget and must make tough decisions.

We need your feedback about what other collections we will provide and maintain. The results of this survey will be considered as part of future decision making.

The survey will remain open through Friday, June 8, 2018.

The Big Book Club: Oh Boy, Tolstoy!

Read "War and Peace" starting June 2

Oh Boy Tolstoy

Have you always wanted to read more heavy Russian literature, but never had the time? Are you looking for a challenge? Do you like talking about books with other people?

Then you are invited to join us in reading the VERY big book "War and Peace" this summer!

We'll talk about it online, cheer each other on when the Russian aristocrats drive us bonkers, maybe fall in love - and at the end of the summer we'll celebrate our survival of 1400 pages of Tolstoy with an in-person viewing of one of the "War and Peace" films (and probably ice cream).

Learn more, and register to join The Big Book Club: Oh Boy, Tolstoy! on the Library website.

Library App Update

New: My Digital Library Card

library app barcode

Now you can use your Library App at self-checkout stations, just like a regular library card!

You can find your Digital Library Card by going to your user account screen in the app, and tapping the "My Digital Library Card" button at the bottom of the menu list. This brings up a virtual library card with a scannable barcode, and your card number.

Learn more about the Library App on the Library website.
