Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

From September 15 - October 15, communities across the country observe the annual Hispanic Heritage Month.

Hispanic Heritage Month pays tribute to the generations of Hispanic Americans who have positively influenced and enriched our nation and society.

You can take part in Hispanic Heritage Month:

• Get a good book about a Hispanic American adventurer, hero or role model.
• Visit the Day of the Dead / Dia de los Muertos Altars exhibit.
• Learn about our award winning librarian-author, Mariela Aguilar.
• Attend the 2017 Arlington County Latino American Festival.
