UTA TRAX ALERT: Saturday, May 6, 2023

Due to a major construction project and a shortage of operators, there will be greater delays in TRAX service to Monster Jam than is typical for events at Rice-Eccles Stadium. Please note, this is a Ticket As Fare event—your event ticket is your UTA fare for bus, TRAX, FrontRunner and UTA On Demand for the day of the event.

TRAX Event Service Information:
All TRAX lines will have their regular 30-minute Saturday service throughout most of the day.

Before and after Monster Jam, there will be 15-minute service on the Red Line between 600 South and University Medical Center Stations:

3:14 p.m.: 15-minute service starts northbound from 600 South Station; ends at 6:57 p.m.

3:50 p.m.: 15-minute service starts southbound from University Medical Center Station; ends at 6:50 p.m.

15-minute service will start again when the event ends.

Wait times for trains at Stadium Station after the event may be longer than usual.

 

Expect Construction Delays on TRAX in Murray Area:
Due to construction, the track is closed between Fashion Place West and Murray Central Stations. There is a bus bridge between Fashion Place West and Murray Central Stations.

Expect 30-minute delays when traveling through the construction area and late Blue and Red Line trains outside of the construction area.
