For those of you who would like to get in touch with Representative Brooks this session I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Cece Burridge and I am a student at Utah State studying economics. I grew up in Draper, Utah and have many fond memories playing soccer in the St. George area when I was younger. This year I have the opportunity to serve as Representative Brooks intern and I am very excited to get to know the people of District 75. If you'd like to get in touch with Representative Brooks this upcoming session feel free to contact me here!

This past week Representative Brooks has been hard at work on Representing the people of District 75. This work includes two bills that Representative Brooks is passionate about.
- HB88, this bill works to reform social security tax to keep more of your taxpayer dollars in your hands.
- A property tax bill that is going to be named and numbered soon.
We had the opportunity to hear from Governor Spencer Cox during his State of the State address on Thursday. He focused on policies to help families and the next generation of Utahns. Representative Brooks is looking forward to working with his colleagues in the House and Senate to ensure Utah continues to prosper for our children and grandchildren.
Bills SB16 and HB132 dealing with sex transformation for minors are designed to protect youth. Representative Brooks is a believer that all adults have the individual right to make their own choices. Rep. Brooks is also sensitive to those youth struggling with these very difficult issues and unfortunately, they are doing it in what often is the most challenging time of their life! Rep Brooks said “We all need to be thoughtful and realize their different choices do not justify being cruel, unkind, or discriminatory.” He feels there should be mental health resources made available to help them work through these challenging times.
