This brief reports preliminary findings from the National Center on Homelessness among Veterans’ ongoing evaluation of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) homelessness prevention and rapid re-housing initiative, the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program. It focuses specifically on the housing outcomes of Veterans who exited SSVF during FY 2012, which was the first year of the program’s operation.
