Predictors of homelessness following exit from the Supportive Services for Veteran Families Program by Thomas Byrne, PhD, Dennis Culhane, PhD, Vincent Kane, MSS, John Kuhn, LCSW, MPH, and Dan Treglia, MPP

This study capitalized on the unique opportunity afforded by the SSVF program to examine the outcomes of single adult and family Veteran households who received homelessness prevention and rapid rehousing services in communities throughout the entire United States. The specific aims of the study were to assess the extent to which Veteran households experienced homelessness following exit from the prevention and rapid rehousing components of SSVF, and to identify Veteran, SSVF program, and community-level housing market factors associated with risk of homelessness following exit from SSVF.
