My HealtheVet (http://www.myhealth.va.gov ) is a robust website created with your needs in mind. With My HealtheVet, you can gain a better understanding of your health status and then you can explore a variety of options to improve your health. The website provides you with tools to become partners with your Caregivers and manage your personal health care 24/7, anywhere, anytime with Internet access.

Since 2003, My HealtheVet has grown and added exciting features like Secure Messaging and the VA Blue Button.  These tools give you more freedom to make your health care decisions.  You can seek medical advice at a time and place that work best for you, based on your preferences.

With a My HealtheVet account*, you can:

  • View portions of your VA medical records
  • Track VA lab results and vital signs
  • Submit VA prescription refills
  • Share selected medical history with your family, Caregivers or non-VA providers via the
  • VA Blue Button – an easy-to-read electronic file of your heath record to share
  • Communicate with your VA health care team about non-emergency needs between visits via Secure Messaging.

* After you are enrolled, take the next step to upgrade your account with Authentication, in-person or online, to get the most out of My HealtheVet. It takes a few minutes online, or during a visit with a My HealtheVet Coordinator at your next clinic visit.
