Free CE: SC MIRECC CBOC Mental Health Grand Rounds Archived Webinar Series

SC MIRECC National CBOC Mental Health Grand Rounds webinars provide continuing education (CE) training on evidence-based practices, research, and new issues in mental health to VA clinicians who work with rural Veterans. An archive of recorded webinars includes three trainings that can help clinicians increase their knowledge of mental health treatment at VA. These three trainings cover polypharmacy, interventions for schizophrenia, and psychedelic treatments.

Pilot Study Grant Opportunity for VISN 16 Researchers

Researchers in VISN 16 are invited to apply for a pilot study grant. Our program is intended to increase both the quantity and quality of federally funded research that will help us better understand the experiences of underserved Veterans and to support development and dissemination of evidence-based practices that can make a real difference in their lives. The next deadline to submit a proposal is July1, 2025.

Research Methods and Analysis Consultation Services Available for VISN 16 Investigators

Our MIRECC Implementation, Design and Analysis Support (MIDAS) program offers centralized design, methodologic and analytic support to VISN 16 researchers who are seeking intramural or extramural funding or conducting pilot projects. The MIDAS team is experienced in biostatistics, epidemiology, demography, psychometrics, qualitative methods, and project implementation.
