Next month, VHA’s National Community Partnership Challenge (CPC) begins its 11th year by inviting VA staff to submit non-monetary partnerships for consideration.  

Managed by HAP, CPC recognizes outstanding partnerships that advance the health and well-being of Veterans and their communities. VA medical centers, health care centers, community-based outpatient centers, clinics, program offices, and VHA employees are eligible and encouraged to submit an entry.  

This year’s theme, The Power of Partnerships, celebrates the tremendous impact of non-monetary partnerships between VHA and community organizations on Veterans’ health and well-being.  Each submission must meet one or more of the following criteria; 

Additionally, each submission should clearly describe how the partnership aligns with VHA core principles: becoming a High Reliability Organization (HRO); promoting of inclusion, diversity, equity and access (IDEA); and demonstrating ICARE values (Integrity, Commitment, Advocacy, Respect and Excellence). The 2025 submission period closes March 7th.
