Ways for Veterans to Get Their Flu and COVID-19 Vaccines for Free
Veterans Health Administration sent this bulletin at 10/03/2024 07:07 PM EDTVHA recommends annual flu and COVID-19 vaccines to all Veterans. These vaccines are safe to be given at the same time and reduce your chance of severe illness that could result in hospitalization. We ask that you wear a short-sleeved shirt when you go to get vaccinated.

Note: Caregivers, family members, and beneficiaries are NOT eligible.
1. During scheduled appointments, visits to clinics, or locally near your home:
-Most scheduled medical appointments. Ask about vaccines when you schedule to learn about available options!
-Drop-in at VA Primary Care clinics during business hours. Please note, wait times may vary and vaccinations are not available at Lincoln City and Newport clinics.
-Community Care Partners, such as Albertsons, Costco, CVS, Rite Aid, Safeway, Walmart & Walgreens retail pharmacies*
