Suicide Risk Screen Follow Up Monitor acts as a safety net to ensure that Veterans complete the Comprehensive Suicide Risk Evaluation (CSRE) following a positive suicide screen. The practice provides a CPRS pop-up notification and populates a real-time VistA report to identify patients that have a positive screening within the last 36 hours and alert the Suicide Prevention Coordinator or Suicide Prevent team designee(s). Following full implementation of all sites in VISN 15 in 2022, VISN 15 increased adherence for CSRE completion from 65% to 90%.
