We are pleased to announce that the National SC MIRECC CBOC Mental Health Grants Rounds webinar series will be available to community clinicians in March. Like our VA learners, community physicians, psychologists, nurses, social workers, licensed counselors, pharmacists, and rehabilitation specialists will now be able to receive one free hour of continuing education credit per webinar for attending our monthly series.

Our webinars occur twice per month to accommodate a nationwide audience on second Wednesdays (8:00 - 9:00 am CT) and second Thursdays (11:00-12:00 pm CT). The webinars are delivered through Adobe Connect and recorded.

Our registration emails will be updated to reflect this change for both VA and community clinicians. Starting in March:

  1. VA clinicians will continue to register for the webinars through a VA TMS registration link.
  2. Community clinicians will register for the webinars through a VHA TRAIN registration link. First-time TRAIN users must create an account.  Email VHATRAIN@va.gov for help.

This webinar series started 13 years ago and has issued more than 19,500 continuing education credits to learners across the United States.

Our March webinar is on sleep apnea assessment and intervention recommendations for when Veterans have difficulty with CPAP use. Registration for this webinar will be available in early March. We encourage VA clinicians to share this opportunity with their networks outside of VA. Interested learners can also join our email list to get registration alerts and other SC MIRECC news.
