Greetings, Diffusion of Excellence is proud to announce the 2023 VHA Shark Tank Competition Promising Practices! On November 1, 15 finalists pitched their innovations at the 2023 VHA Innovation Experience (iEX) to a panel of VHA leadership Sharks, over 350 in-person iEX attendees, and virtual viewers nationwide. VISN and VAMC director Sharks bid resources on finalist practices for the chance to implement a practice at their facility. On the third day of iEX, Diffusion announced the winning Shark bids selected by the 2023 Promising Practices. Attached is the complete list of Promising Practices, the innovator(s), and their matched VA facility for replication. This year, over 350 frontline employees applied for the competition and 54 VISN and VAMC directors across 32 VAMCs registered as bidding Sharks.
