Top Line
As the subject of this Quarterly REMINDER release states, the most important priority are the Veterans we serve every day. One representation of the importance of that mission is the recognition our facilities receive for the care we provide. Becker's Hospital Review recently gave our facilities a multitude of five-star ratings and I want to praise our diligent staff's embodiment of the VA Core Values which make our facilities some of the best in the nation.
Other topics to read about include: we celebrated a five-year anniversary at Rocky Mountain Regional VAMC, a centennial celebration in Muskogee, the VA celebrated 100 years of serving women Veterans, and we're continuing to hire high-quality staff in all of our states.
Finally, with flu season starting, I encourage each of you and all of our Veterans to receive an influenza vaccine to protect yourself and your loved ones.
As always, thanks for reading this edition of Quarterly REMINDER!
Sincerely,
Sunaina Kumar-Giebel Network Director
