Flu Vaccine Now Available. Drive Thru Flu Shots Coming Soon!

FREE flu vaccines are now available to Veterans enrolled in the VA Eastern Kansas Health Care System.  Veterans who have a routine appointment with their provider can receive a free flu vaccine while in the clinic at any Primary Care, Behavioral Health or Specialty Clinic.

Beginning 18 September, flu vaccines will also be available at our convenient drive-through clinics at the Topeka and Leavenworth VA Medical Centers.

Several of our associated community-based outpatient clinics will also be offering extended-hours flu shot clinics on selected dates in September and October

Veterans coming to our drive-through clinics should bring a VA ID card and wear clothing that allows staff to reach their upper arm. 

COVID-19 vaccines will not be available at our flu shot drive-through clinics.  Veterans wishing to schedule a COVID-19 vaccine or booster should call our Scheduling Unit at 1-800-574-8387, Ext. 54453.
