Today, we congratulate the Dallas Community Living Center on receiving Committed to Care Excellence Level 2 Recognition and becoming part of a nationwide movement to improve health care for older adults.

The National Center for Patient Safety's Team Training is required for different teams, including clinical and non-clinical ones. The training teaches groups to behave safely in their everyday work with patients. It is inspired by Crew Resource Management from aviation and helps the VHA ensure no harm to patients. The main goal of Team Training is to make sure that teams work together effectively.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month. In addition, Denim Day is a long-running sexual violence awareness and education campaign recognized annually on the last Wednesday in April.
VANTHCS is committed to ensuring that our community is safe, welcoming, and free of sexual harassment and sexual assault for all employees, Veterans, their caregivers, volunteers, and visitors.
Join us as we support raising awareness for sexual assault prevention by wearing jeans on April 26 to shed light on victim-blaming and dangerous misconceptions surrounding sexual violence.
