The holiday season has arrived. This time of year can be joyous, busy, and overwhelming.

The Erie VA Chaplain Service team will host a Blue Christmas Service for those seeking comfort and healing on Monday, December 19th at noon. 

We will remember those we have lost and those who grieve; we will remember those struggling with life's challenges and seeking meaning in their lives.

Amid life's challenges, we will lift up hope that helps us find meaning and purpose during our struggles.

The PACT Act recently expanded VA health care and benefits for millions of Veterans and their survivors.

If you or your loved one served during the Vietnam War, Gulf War era, or post 9/11, your VA eligibility may have increased. The PACT Act also:

• Adds more than 20 new presumptive conditions for burn pits and other toxic exposures
• Adds more presumptive locations for Agent Orange and radiation exposure
• Provides toxic exposure screenings to every Veteran enrolled in VA health care

Need a ride to your VA appointment?

The DAV Volunteer Transportation Network (VTN) Program is a courtesy service that provides free transportation to and from VA medical appointments for Veterans who have no other means of transportation. The service is fully operated by volunteers.

To request a ride, call 814-860-2095 at least 7 business days before your appointment.
