The Pfizer COVID-19 primary vaccines and the new Pfizer Bivalent booster vaccines are now available at the Buffalo VA Medical Center campus for enrolled Veterans, spouses, caregivers, CHAMPVA recipients and dependents over 18 years of age under the authority of the SAVE LIVES Act, as supply and capacity permits.

COVID-19 vaccines are provided at no cost. VA also provides free COVID-19 testing to eligible Veterans. All persons coming in for a Bivalent booster shot should bring their CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Card with them.

Vaccines are provided Monday – Friday from 8:00am until 2:45pm in Room 301, Freedom Hall, Buffalo VA Medical Center, 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215.

While scheduling your appointment, please ask about receiving a Flu vaccination at the same appointment!  

Please note that in order to receive a booster dose now, you must have 1) completed the primary series of COVID-19 vaccines, and 2) it must have been completed at least 8 weeks since your last COVID vaccine. A primary series is at least two (2) doses of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one (1) dose of Jansen or Novavax vaccine. For those who are moderately or severely immunocompromised, a primary series is three (3) doses of the same vaccine or a mix of vaccines.
