Drive-Thru Flu Shot / COVID-19 Booster Clinic

The Louis A. Johnson VA Medical center will offer a drive-thru vaccine clinic on Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 8:00a.m. to Noon in the parking garage adjacent to the medical center in Clarksburg. Flu vaccines will be available for Veterans only, however, current COVID booster vaccines will be available to Veterans, Spouses, and Caregivers. Veterans are asked to present their VA card and Veterans, spouses, and caregivers are encouraged to wear a short-sleeved shirt. Enrollment will be present to register anyone not enrolled in VA healthcare. Proof of previous COVID vaccinations given outside of the VA is required by presenting a COVID vaccine card.
The flu vaccine is available to Veterans with no appointment necessary by visiting the Primary Care area of the medical center, Red Firm, Outpatient Mental Health, or at the four community-based outpatient clinics (Monday through Friday from 7:30a.m. to 4:00p.m.)
The new Moderna Bivalent COVID-19 booster is available to Veterans, Veteran spouses, and caregivers. The new booster provides added protection against the original coronavirus, as well as its omicron, BA.4 and BA.5 variants.
