The PACT Act expands and extends health care and benefits to millions of Veterans who may have been impacted by toxic exposures while serving our country.
Post-9/11 Veterans discharged before Oct. 1, 2013, can enroll in VA health care during a special 1-year enrollment period between October 1, 2022, and October 1, 2023. If you were previously denied, file a supplemental claim. Do not wait to file a PACT Act claim.

The Erie VAMC Caregiver Support Program is excited to announce that the Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregiver (PCAFC) expanded on October 1, 2022.
PCAFC is now open for eligible Veterans of all eras who incurred or aggravated a serious injury in the line of duty.
This program provides resources, education, support, a financial stipend, and health insurance (if eligible), beneficiary travel (if eligible), to caregivers of eligible Veterans.
