Getting a flu shot protects you, your family and your community. If available, you can also safely receive your COVID Booster at the same time you get a flu shot – one visit, two vaccines. Please bring your COVID vaccination record card.
You can also receive your immunizations at an existing face-to-face appointment.

24,000 veterans in Maine have registered and are using the My HealtheVet features. From the convenience of any computer, tablet, or phone on the internet, veterans can:
- Securely message healthcare teams.
- Refill prescriptions with the click of a key, track Rx shipping.
- Check appointments and receive email appointment reminders.
- Schedule and request appointments for primary care or mental health.
- Review lab results, radiology, and other tests.
- Download healthcare records and review provider notes.
- Download medical images like X-rays, mammograms, CTs, and MRIs.
- Use our trusted and extensive Veterans Health Library.
Once registered, to gain access to all features, you must upgrade to Premium / be authenticated. You can do this by showing a government issued ID at any VA Maine primary care office front desk. No appointment needed and it only takes two minutes You can also set up a video appointment with Maine coordinator Mike L'Abbe, (207) 512-6983. You can also upgrade by signing in with a premium DS Logon, IDme, or Login.gov.

My HealtheVet Sign In.
Option 1 or Option 2?
You may have seen there are options on how to sign in to My HealtheVet.
Option 1 is the new sign in which allows you to use credentials from LogIn.gov, IDme, and DS Logon as well as My HealtheVet. It is also the two factor authentication way-of-the-future for My HealtheVet. We suggest you try it soon. You will be asked to provide your email and cell phone and will receive an email and a text to verify your identity. If you have any concerns, please call Mike, (207) 512-6983.
Option 2 allows you to Continue to My HealtheVet only. You will use your User ID and Password just like you always have. It is familiar and easy to use, but it will go away sometime in the future. Try Option 1 soon to make use all goes well.
