Beginning March 22nd COVID Testing will be Tuesday’s ONLY
Veterans Health Administration sent this bulletin at 03/18/2022 03:51 PM EDT
Beginning March 22nd Veteran drive thru outpatient symptomatic COVID Testing will be Tuesday’s ONLY from 8:30am until 10am. We will no longer be testing 5 days a week since our numbers have been dropping significantly and there is no longer a need to test every day. This is great news as we move forward.
Veterans must be enrolled in VA health care to receive a COVID-19 test through VA and there is no copay. Medical personnel will contact Veterans who have positive results. Veterans who test positive should monitor their symptoms, stay in touch with their medical provider and avoid contact with anyone else.
Testing is a critical piece of VA’s public health response to protect and care for Veterans, their families, health care providers and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic.
