The VA Boston Healthcare System now offers walk-in COVID-19 testing and vaccine clinics for Veterans enrolled in VA health care!

The schedules below start Monday, Jan. 31, 2021.

Normally, test results will be available in 24-48 hours. We will contact you with the results. You can also find your results in your My HealtheVet account under Labs + Tests. If you have not been contacted with your results within 48 hours, please call the Clinical Contact Center at 800-865-3384. Please note that COVID-19 testing is currently only available for Veterans who are enrolled in VA health care. Spouses and caregivers are not eligible for COVID-19 testing from VA at this time.

There is no medical evaluation or treatment provided by the testing clinics, they provide a test with instructions for follow-up as needed. If you are feeling ill and wish to be evaluated urgently, please visit your local VA or VA Community Care Network urgent care or emergency department facility. You can find a VA or VA CCN urgent care clinic near you at https://www.va.gov/find-locations. In the event of an emergency, please dial 911.

* Vaccine clinics and testing sites are closed during all federal holidays.

Boosters are available for adults whose last Moderna or Pfizer vaccine was more than 5 months ago or 2 months ago for the J&J / Janssen vaccine. Full 3rd  and 4th doses are only for individuals who are immunocompromised; visit https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/recommendations/immuno.html for more information. You must bring your CDC card from previous COVID-19 vaccinations.

Please note that walk-in vaccination clinics are first come, first served, and participants will be offered a vaccine based on clinical need and inventory. Veterans, spouses, caregivers and CHAMPVA recipients under the authority of the SAVE LIVES Act (SLA) must have eligibility established. If you have additional questions about getting an additional dose / booster of COVID-19 vaccine, please ask your primary care provider.
