Important COVID Information

Attention Ark-La-Tex Veterans:

The Shreveport VA is concerned about the recent spike in COVID cases. Modified restrictions will be put into place for your safety and the anticipation of a fourth wave of COVID. Please take a moment to look over the new implementations that will start at noon on Monday, Dec. 27, 2021.

Entry into the facility will be restricted to those who have a scheduled appointment or if receiving a COVID vaccination.
You can enter the facility 30 minutes in advance of scheduled appointments to complete x-rays and lab work.
You can be accompanied by one caregiver. The caregiver does not require prior approval to enter the facility with their Veteran.
The Emergency Room waiting area will be restricted to Veterans only.
Visitation hours are from 2 p.m. – 7 p.m.
