VHSO Offers COVID-19 Vaccine Boosters

Greetings Veterans and Stakeholders,

COVID-19 vaccine booster shots are available for all Veterans receiving care at VHSO or any of its Community Based Outpatient Clinics. COVID-19 vaccine booster shots are also available to all other Veterans, spouses, caregivers and CHAMPVA recipients under the authority of the SAVE LIVES Act, as supply and capacity permits.

Guidance for individuals who had two doses of Moderna vaccine:

Individuals 18 years and older who are eligible to get a booster shot include those who completed a Moderna COVID-19 vaccine series at least 6 months ago.

Guidance for individuals who received a single dose J&J/Janssen COVID-19 vaccine:

Individuals who received a J&J/Janssen COVID-19 vaccine at least 2 months ago and are 18 years of age or older should receive a COVID-19 vaccine booster shot.

Please see the below information for when and where a COVID-19 vaccine booster may be obtained. Also, please remember to bring your COVID-19 vaccination card with you.

Any Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Fort Smith CBOC – Main Entrance (ask for Carol Turner)
