Flu Vaccinations are now available for eligible Veterans. During flu season, protecting your health with a flu shot is easier than ever, and as close as one of more than 60,000 community locations. You can choose to get your flu shot at VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System or in the community.
Whether you choose a new Community Care Network in-network retail pharmacy or urgent care location that provides eligible Veteran patients easy access to flu shots, it's easy for Veterans to receive their flu shot at the right time and the right place. Learn more about receiving your flu shot through a community care provider and eligibility requirements.
This fall, flu clinics are available at LTC Charles S. Kettles VA Medical Center and at our Michigan-based Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) in Jackson and Flint, as well as the Toledo CBOC in Ohio. The Toledo CBOC will also have a drive-thru flu clinic. It's quick and easy, and you never have to exit your vehicle. Learn more about the Flu shot and when you can receive a shot at the Medical Center or CBOCs.
Please wear a loose fitting shirt, if possible, in efforts to speed up your visit. If you have an appointment with your Primary Care Provider in the near future, please plan to receive your flu shot at that appointment.
US-23 Closure
US-23 between Dundee and Milan, Michigan has been closed in both the northbound and southbound directions. The highway is expected to reopen September 24, 2021. Detours are available around the construction. If you travel this route to the LTC Charles S. Kettles VA Medical Center in Ann Arbor, this detour may add additional time (~20 to 30 minutes) to your commute. Please plan for delays and leaving earlier than expected for scheduled appointments.
Stay up-to-date on the construction project by following the Michigan Department of Transportation Drive map.
