Covid-19 Vaccine Incentive Update

Dear Veteran:

We apologize for a notification you received recently from the VA Central Ohio Healthcare System offering a $10 Canteen Services voucher for Veterans coming in to get vaccinated at our Columbus VA facility or one of our four Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). At this time, our healthcare facility is not permitted to provide incentives for Veterans to receive the Covid-19 vaccination. We apologize for this error in communication.

We still, however, encourage you to receive your Covid-19 vaccine if you have not done so already. For more information on times and locations where we offer the vaccine, please visit our website at https://www.columbus.va.gov/services/covid-19-vaccines.asp.

If you received the vaccine through a healthcare provider or at a location other than the Columbus VA, please call your primary care nurse to let them know. This will ensure we keep your medical records current.

We appreciate your understanding, and we at the Columbus VA stand ready to meet your healthcare needs.
