Covid 19 Moving Forward

VA Maine Transitions to Phase III of
COVID-19 “Moving Forward” Plan

Due to the low positivity rate for COVID-19 and the high vaccination rate, both at VA Maine and within New England,  we have officially transition to Phase III - Reimagine, the final phase, of our “Moving Forward” Plan.

In Phase 3 we will expand up to 100% of non-emergent procedures and services.

The only exceptions are the Bingham Access Clinic which remains temporarily closed, and Dental Services. Dental’s transition will be forthcoming as we continue to operate with some turnaround time limitations due to necessary room sanitization procedures.

As we reimagine the way forward, we will continue to provide virtual care services for many of your health care needs.  We encourage you to utilize this effective and convenient alternative to face-to-face appointments.

Talk to your VA provider to learn more about VA Virtual Care.

We will continue Entry Point Screening, Universal Masking, and Social Distancing.
