North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System COVID-19 Vaccine Operations - May 18, 2021

The North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System (NF/SGVHS) is currently providing COVID-19 vaccination services to anyone who served in the military, their caregivers and spouses.

To ensure that Veterans enrolled in VA health care and those authorized under the SAVE LIVES Act have the opportunity to receive the COVID-19 Vaccination from VA at a time convenient for them, we have added walk-up no appointment needed vaccination clinics at all of our sites of care. Those who wish to get their COVID-19 vaccine without an appointment are encouraged to check the no appointment needed clinic days and times below. Individuals who prefer to schedule an appointment to receive their COVID-19 vaccination from any location can call 352-548-6000 ext. 103755 to schedule.

Starting Monday May 24, 2021 the COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Veteran of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post #2391 will transition back to the St. Augustine Community Based Outpatient Clinic located at 195 Southpark Blvd., St. Augustine, FL 32086. No vaccines will be administered at the VFW Post #2391 this week (May 17-21, 2021).

Individuals eligible under the SAVES LIVES Act who would like to receive a COVID-19 vaccine from VA should go to www.va.gov/covid-19-vaccine to sign up. Once registered, those eligible will have access to schedule an appointment by calling 352-548-6000 ext. 103755 or attend a no appointment needed clinic.

Each NF/SGVHS location has different operational plans in place. Current COVID-19 vaccine administration sites and their operational status are provided below.

Important:
Veterans who have received any other vaccination in the last 14 days or have any COVID-19 or Flu like symptoms will not be vaccinated.  Veterans must present to the same location to receive their second dose unless they receive the one-dose Janssen COVID-19 vaccine.
