Kansas City VA Offers Multi-Stop Vaccine Clinic This Weekend
On Saturday, May 15, the KCVA vaccine team will take the “Reclaim the Summer” vaccine tour on the road to two locations on the same day. The first stop is the Bruce R. Watkins Cultural Center, 3700 Blue Pkwy., in Kansas City from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. The team will them move to Friendship Baptist Church, 3530 Chelsea Dr, in Kansas City from 12 to 2:30 p.m.
First Stop: Saturday, May 15 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. (Janssen, also known as J&J, vaccine) Bruce R. Watkins Cultural Center, 3700 Blue Pkwy., Kansas City MO
Second Stop: Saturday, May 15 from 12 to 2:30 p.m. (Janssen, also known as J&J, vaccine) Friendship Baptist Church, 3530 Chelsea Dr. #3500, Kansas City MO
Appointments are not required but are highly encouraged to guarantee a vaccine dose. Veterans can call 816-922-2619 to schedule a vaccination appointment. Veterans, their family members, and caregivers over the age of 18 can also walk-in to either of these clinics without an appointment and receive their COVID-19 vaccine “on the spot.”
