We are writing to provide our latest schedule for COVID-19 vaccinations. Please share this news with your contacts.

Our community clinic is operating a drive-thru clinic in partnership with the Hillsborough County Department of Health at the USF Yuengling Center, open to ages 16 and over. Veterans, Active Duty, Reservists, National Guard, first responders, spouses, caregivers and all family members 16 and over can use the community clinic. You can schedule an appointment here: www.tampava.eventbrite.com or just drive-up Tuesday to Saturday, 7:30 am to 3 pm.

We want to highlight that COVID-19 vaccinations at the clinics below are available to Veterans of any age, spouses of Veterans, and caregivers of Veterans. We encourage walk-ins during the outlined timeframes, but you can also call to make an appointment at 813-558-3999. This call center is open Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. After these hours, you can call 1-877-741-3400 and choose option 2.

Spouses, caregivers, and unregistered Veterans should pre-register at this site at least one day in advance of vaccination. Please pre-register at Sign up to get a vaccine | Veterans Affairs.This will expedite the check-in process the day of vaccination.

Below is the schedule for May 2-8. Note we have omitted clinic locations that are fully booked, so if you have an appointment at a site not appearing on the list below, don’t worry – you’re still scheduled.

  • New Port Richey/Pasco County VA Clinic will offer the Moderna Vaccine, which requires a 2nd dose 28 days after the first. Walk ins are available next week Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Scheduled appointments are available from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm.
  • Lakeland VA Clinic will offer Janssen (J&J) Vaccine. Walk-ins are available on Thursday, May 6, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Appointments can be made from 8:00 am to 12:45 pm. 
  • Brooksville VA Clinic will offer the Janssen (J&J) Vaccine. Walk-ins are available on Tuesday, May 4, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Appointments are available from 8:00 am to 12:45 pm.
  • Tampa Primary Care Annex at 13515 Lake Terrace Ln, Tampa, FL will offer Janssen (J&J) Vaccine. Walk-ins are available on Friday, May 7, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Appointments are available from 8:00 am to 12:45 pm.
  • USF Yuengling Center Parking Lot located at 12499 USF Bull Run Dr. – The Tampa VA main facility is using this space and will offer a drive-up clinic next Tuesday thru Saturday from 7:30 am to 3 pm. The Pfizer Vaccine is offered at this location, which requires a return visit 21 days after the first. This clinic is available to community members as mentioned above, and Veterans.

For added convenience, enrolled Veterans can now schedule COVID-19 Vaccines anytime by texting VACCINE to 53079. Others can walk-in or call.
