UPDATED: Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center Hosts COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic at the Towanda American Legion
Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania is hosting a COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic at the American Legion in Towanda, Pennsylvania on April 15, 2021 from 9:00AM to 2:30PM.
The Moderna Vaccine, a two dose immunization, will be administered. A second clinic will be held on May 13, 2021, also at the Towanda American Legion, for the administration of second doses.
The clinic is open to anyone who served in the military, their caregivers and spouses, under the authority granted by the SAVE LIVES Act, signed by President Joe Biden March 24, 2021.
Veterans, spouses and caregivers interested in receiving the vaccine during the April 15th clinic are asked to pre-register by calling (570) 830-7076 Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM and 8:30 PM.
