VA Maine Healthcare System is offering the Pfizer vaccine to Veterans, their spouses, and caregivers on Friday, April 2, 2021, with the 2nd dose on Friday, April 23, 2021, at the former Brunswick Naval Air Station now Brunswick Landing. 

If you are an enrolled veteran and have not yet been contacted by VA Maine for a vaccine appointment, please call 207-623-8411 extension 4949 or extension 7490 if you are interested.

Need an easy credential for the new on-line Travel Pay system? (BTSSS)

Use your My HealtheVet Premium sign-in user ID and Password.  This is the easiest credential for enrolled VA veterans,

That same credential can be sued to retrieve records, check appointments, see your latest labs and tests, and to securely send a message to your healthcare and admin teams as well as to refill prescriptions on line from My HealtheVet or the Rx Refill app.

REFILLING PRESCRIPTIONS
on My HealtheVet is FAST and EASY 

The fastest and easiest way to order your prescription refills during COVID-19 operations, is to use the prescription refill feature of
My HealtheVet.  If you have refills remaining, it is just click, click and SUBMIT.  The following day, you can check back for the fill date.  

If you do not have refills remaining, you can copy and paste the prescription info and send a Secure Message to your provider. If you have questions about your prescriptions, you can also send a Secure Message to "Ask a Pharmacist." (Premium Users can use the Secure Messaging. Call 877-327-0022 or Mike L'Abbe at (207) 512-6983 for more information.)

(Prescription Refill is expected to move to Premium by the end of 2021.)

*Prescription Refill is one of the VA's easiest way to refill a medication.  One in three prescription requests are submitted that way.  

*The Appointments feature is a convenient way to check the latest information on dates / times, whether it is a phone call, and for cancellations.

*Secure Messaging has now added administrative groups along with healthcare teams, such as Patient Advocate, Billing, Eligibility,  Beneficiary Travel, Ask a Pharmacist, Ask about Video Connect, the Wheel Chair Clinic, VA Community Care, and others.  If you do not see a group you need in your Secure Messaging, please send a Secure Message to our coordinator at "Ask My HealtheVet (Mike L'Abbe)" with your request or call Mike at 512-6983.

VA Video Connect.

If you prefer the convenience of “meeting” with your provider in the comfort of your home, VA Maine offers telehealth visits.

Through VA Video Connect you can interact with your VA Care Team by simply using the camera on your phone, tablet, desktop or laptop to get direct, real-time access in a way that works best for you.  Contact your provider to discuss this appointment option.  Secure Message "Ask about VA Video Connect" for more information or assistance or call (207) 623-8411, ext 7490.

Coming to Appointments. Please refrain from arriving more than 15 minutes before an appointment. Everyone must wear a mask to prevent unknowingly spreading the virus and we will provide on at entry.  Out of an abundance of caution, we are not permitting visitors.  If you need help, one other adult is permitted.  This individual must not have any flu-like symptoms.
