Dear VA Maryland Health Care System E-News Subscriber:
The VA Maryland Health Care System is administering the COVID-19 vaccine to enrolled Veteran patients based on VA and CDC designated priority groups. Currently, enrolled Veterans 50 years of age or older are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
If you are 50 years of age or older and you have not yet received your COVID-19 vaccination, I encourage you to schedule an appointment by calling our COVID-19 Vaccine Appointment Line at 410-605-7740 Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
If you are under 50 and you want to express your interest in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, visit www.maryland.va.gov and click on “Sign Up and Stay Informed About the COVID-19 Vaccine” so we can contact you once you become eligible. To receive real-time information about the distribution of the vaccine, we encourage you and a family member to visit www.maryland.va.gov and go to “Connect with VA Maryland Health Care System” on the homepage to sign-up to receive Email Updates, follow us on Twitter and “Like” us on Facebook.
Even after you have received the vaccine, please remember to continue wearing a mask in public, washing your hands, and staying at least 6 feet from others who don’t live with you. It is our hope that the vaccine will help us all come through this pandemic together.
Sincerely,
Jonathan R. Eckman, P.E.
Director, VA Maryland Health Care System
