Dear Veterans and Stakeholders,
Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks (VHSO) is proud to offer enrolled Veterans of ALL ages the COVID-19 vaccine.
Enrolled Veterans do not need an appointment to receive their COVID-19 vaccine at the Springfield CBOC. Just come to the drive-thru clinic VHSO is hosting next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. By receiving the vaccine you will aid in protecting yourself, your family, your community, and your fellow Veterans from the spread of COVID-19.
- Veterans of any age must be enrolled in VA healthcare at the Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks or one of its seven Community Based Outpatient Clinics.
- Veterans will receive the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine, along with an automatic appointment to get the second dose of the vaccine.
- In addition, VHSO staff will continue to call Veterans to schedule COVID-19 vaccine appointments.
- Non-enrolled Veterans can apply for VA health care at https://www.va.gov/health-care/how-to-apply/ or by calling 877-222-8387.
