1.) Vaccine available with no age restrictions
(Updated March 18) - Effective March 1, VA Connecticut Healthcare System is now offering COVID-19 vaccine to eligible enrolled veterans regardless of age. Depending on location, VA Connecticut patients will receive either the two-dose Pfizer or Moderna vaccine. Upcoming Clinics: Scheduled appointments at the Newington campus, 555 Willard Avenue

Key Information for Attendees:
- Eligible veterans (any age) must be enrolled for care with VA to receive the vaccine. Veterans can apply online at https://www.va.gov/health-care/how-to-apply/.
- We are administering the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. Location will determine which vaccine you receive.
- Availability is first come, first served at walk-in clinics
2.Did you know you can SECURE MESSAGES to your primary care providers? You can let them know if you have received the vaccine somewhere else. If you received the vaccine through VA CT, we have it recorded!
If you are unsure if you have a My HealtheVet account, you can call 877-327-0022 from 8a-8p M-F to check.
- If you have not set up a My HealtheVet Account yet, you can do so from the comfort of your own home by registering at www.myhealth.va.gov
