VHSO Hosting Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine Walk-In Clinics
Veterans Health Administration sent this bulletin at 02/26/2021 02:01 PM ESTGreetings Veterans and Stakeholders:
VHSO will be hosting a Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine walk-in clinic for VHSO enrolled Veterans who get their care at the Fayetteville or any of its CBOCs, who are not currently scheduled to receive the vaccine, and who are 65 years of age or older, those on dialysis, undergoing chemotherapy, have had a transplant, and/or are homeless at the Fayetteville campus.
The walk-in clinic will be held on Saturday, February 27 and Sunday, February 28 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Building 21 Lab area. Veterans are required to present their VA ID card for verification.
The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine requires two rounds. Once a Veteran receives the first dose, the second dose is scheduled for approximately 28 days later.
Veterans should not present for the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine if they have had any immunization within the last 14 days or are having COVID symptoms.
