COVID-19 vaccine appointments available at VA Palo Alto Health Care System
VAPAHCS is offering the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine at the Palo Alto, Menlo Park and Livermore Divisions. The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine is available at the Stockton Community Based Outpatient Clinic, in Stockton, Calif., and at the Major General William H. Gourley VA-DoD Outpatient Clinic, in Monterey, Calif.
Veterans enrolled at VAPAHCS who are 55 years or older are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
Caregivers registered in the Caregiver Support program are also now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Caregivers are eligible to receive the vaccine when their Veteran becomes eligible (currently 55+ years old and enrolled in VA) at the time of their appointment.
Give us a call at (650) 496-2535, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to be scheduled for an appointment. Veterans cannot receive their vaccination without an appointment!
We are also offering the vaccine to Veterans who identify as essential workers, as defined by the CDC: Health care employees, first responders – fire fighters and police officers, corrections workers, food and agriculture, US Postal Service workers, manufacturing, grocery story workers, public transit workers, and education (including child care). Veterans who are essential workers should contact their PACT team to be referred for scheduling.
Don’t fall into this age group? Sign up for our “Keep Me Informed” tool to express your interest in getting the vaccine and we will contact you once you become eligible!
