VA Administers 25,000 COVID Vaccine Doses in Southeast Louisiana

Our campaign to vaccinate southeast Louisiana Veterans is going strong. Earlier this week our COVID-19 vaccine clinics in southeast Louisiana together exceeded 25,000 doses administered.
We've vaccinated many of our most vulnerable Veteran patients. Veterans in approved categories who are eligible for VA health care and receiving care at SLVHCS can walk in to our vaccine clinic in New Orleans or make an appointment at our clinics in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Hammond, Slidell and St John and by calling 1-800-935-8387 extension 72819. Our teams have worked every day, including holidays, since we began this journey back on December 14—and well before that. We will keep working until every southeast Louisiana Veteran who wants a vaccine is given one.
