COVID-19 Vaccine Appointment Availability

COVID Vaccine Update

February 13th Fort Meade Blitz Moving Indoors

If you are scheduled for a second vaccine dose on Saturday, February 13th you likely received a call from Sandra Horsman, Director of VA Black Hills Health Care System.

There is no action needed on your part, arrive at your scheduled appointment time on Saturday. Because of expected extreme weather on the 13th, we are moving the vaccination clinics inside to ensure everyone’s safety.

When you enter the Fort Meade campus you will be instructed to park in front of building 113 or parking lot #3. We will be offering shuttle transportation from the parking lot for anyone who would like assistance.  When you enter the building you will enter through building 113 main entrance or the Emergency Room. Once in the building, staff will be available along the way to direct you to the vaccination clinic.  A couple of things to consider; we will be practicing physical distancing and masking, you may bring one support person to assist you, and please plan to arrive as close to your appointment time as possible.

Receiving your second vaccination is very important to receive the full benefits.  We look forward to seeing you on Saturday and thank you for trusting us with your care.
