COVID-19 Vaccine Updates
COVID-19 Vaccine Available to Veterans 75 and Older
Erie VAMC continues to distribute the COVID-19 Moderna vaccine to Veterans based on CDC and VA guidance. This vaccine requires two doses, given approximately 28 days apart at the same VA clinic location.
Erie VAMC is scheduling COVID-19 vaccine appointments for eligible Veterans who are 75 and older AND receive their VA health care at the Erie VAMC or one of our community-based outpatient clinics.
Call to Schedule an Appointment If you are eligible based on the criteria above, call 814-868-8661, press 2 to schedule an appointment for your vaccine.
Use the Keep Me Informed Tool and Stay Informed About Getting a COVID-19 Vaccine
All Veterans are encouraged to use the Keep Me Informed online tool to stay updated on current COVID-19 vaccine information.
When you sign up, we’ll also ask about your vaccine plans. Our facility may use this information to determine when to contact you once your risk group becomes eligible. Sharing your plans for getting a vaccine helps us plan our distribution efforts and helps us do the most good with our limited vaccine supply. (Note: Using this tool is OPTIONAL. You do not have to sign up to get a vaccine. We will notify patients once they are eligible to receive the vaccine based on their individual risk group.)
VA has many resources available to help keep you informed and provide you support as we continue to move forward through this pandemic. View the following resources for additional information:
