We are excited to share that COVID-19 vaccine distribution for our outpatient Veterans at Madison VA Hospital & Clinics is underway, and we will contact you when it’s your time. We are first offering vaccines to high-risk Veterans as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines. Follow our progress at www.accesstocare.va.gov. Patients may express their interest in getting vaccinated and sign up for vaccine updates at www.va.gov. Click on COVID Vaccine Information and follow the instructions for registration.

The National MOVE program helps veterans with their weight management goals via education and support on different areas such as nutrition, physical activity and behavioral health. A Peer Specialist is a Veteran who has experienced the healing process of Recovery from psychiatric, traumatic or substance use challenges and uses this experience to bring Hope and support to Veterans engaged in Mental Health and Addiction Services. Meet Jason Loeffler, a Navy Veteran (93-97) and one of Madison VA Hospital’s six Peer Specialist on staff.
