Dear Carl Vinson VA Medical Center Veterans: As we continue our COVID-19 vaccination efforts, we understand many of our Veteran patients are interested in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible. While the State of Georgia, via the local community health departments, may be offering vaccine to individuals over the age of 65, the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center is following our phased distribution plan in accordance with CDC and VHA guidelines. During this initial phase of limited supply, we are offering vaccinations to the following categories of Veterans enrolled at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center: • VA Enrolled Veterans aged 75 and older If you are calling for more information on COVID-19 vaccines or would like to know when the vaccine will be available to you, please sign up online at Stay Informed and you will receive the most up-to-date information regarding the vaccine. If you have any additional questions, please visit the VA Veterans Coronavirus FAQs or CDC Coronavirus FAQs. If you need to schedule a medical appointment, we encourage you to use the My HealtheVet secure messaging system.
